LIEF HIRSBORG (No 18) locks his front wheel in the rear wheel of No 21

….and is thrown from his machine right in front of the camera.

He rolls into the path of No 19 (AXEL NEILSEN) and No 20 (HOLGER HANSEN) who are following close in his heels and swinging to avoid him.

HANSEN hits the barrier followed by ….

….NEILSEN a few yards further on….

All 3 riders were removed to hospital. The complete series of 5 pictures were taken inside 3 seconds.
