More About This Chelmsford City v Fords Sports Programme
An authentic piece of football history: a football programme issued for Chelmsford City v Fords Sports (9 March 1946). Items like this from 1946 turn up far less often than you might think, which makes it a welcome find for collectors of either side. It would make a fine addition to any collection of football memorabilia.
A Little History
- Wartime regional football ran from 1939 to 1946, and paper rationing meant many programmes of the era were single sheets.
