given by the Corporation of Grahamstown,

Cape of Good Hope in Honour of Visit of M.C.C. on 13th February 1928.

The invitation signed in pencil by eight members of the team who played for South African Schools in the tour match against M.C.C. at Grahamstown, 13th & 14th February 1928.

Notable signatures include,

Ken Viljoen (27 Tests for South Africa),

and first class players, L.E. de Villiers, D.A. Theophilus, H.D. Bowley, and C.R.H. Byron.
