Manchester United Matt Busby Testimonial Man Utd

1991/92 Football Programme.

In this case the item is the Sir Matt Busby Testimonial Match Souvenir Brochure, played at Old Trafford on 11/8/91.

Two matches took place, the first listed on page 12. It was a seven a side match between Manchester United Stars v Manchester City stars. George Best played for Manchester united.

The other main match is listed on page 16. It was between Manchester United and The Republic of Ireland. Those that played in the match and signed on the back of the brochure included:-

Neil Webb,

Steve Bruce,

Lee Sharpe,

Paul Ince,

and six more (see images).

The result was a 1-1 draw.
Both matches were recorded on a limited Edition Video of just 1000 as an extra special tribute to Sir Matt Busby.

The wonderful 84 page Brochure remains in very good condition and is rare as very few contain the original autographs of players involved in the match.
George Best appears in photo’s on pages 51,54,63,64 and 66 (see images) he hasn’t signed it.
