About the Cork United v Drumcondra 1942 Programme
Here we have a genuine football programme for Cork United v Drumcondra, dated 18 October 1942. Items like this from 1942 turn up far less often than you might think, which makes it a welcome find for collectors of either side. It would make a fine addition to any collection of football memorabilia.
Worth Knowing
- Wartime regional football ran from 1939 to 1946, and paper rationing meant many programmes of the era were single sheets.
